Education
Dasith was first educated at Sooriyawewa National School and later qualified for Mahanama College, Colombo with a score of 174 out of 200 in the scholarship Examination and commenced his studies in 2013. Later he obtained a high pass in the GCE Ordinary Level in Sri Lanka Examination(Index N-90163117)held in 2019 and was able to pursue higher education in the Mathematics section of the same school.
Sport
He first joined the sport in 2013 by joining the cricket academy at Mahanama College, Colombo. He also joined the Soysa Cricket Academy in Moratuwa for further training. He was selected for the school 'C' team because of his talent in cricket training at school.Then in 2015 he left cricket and joined the school Football team. He then played football until 2017 and played with the school's under-14 Rugby union. there he excelled and played for the Rugby team at Prop. This made him a Well-known player at school and on the rugby team. He then played with U-16, U-18 and U-19 teams until 2018,2019 and 2020. In 2018, he will be team's responsibilities and duties as a Sinior player in the Under 16 team. Six years after the match against D. S. Senanayake College, Colombo that year, he and his team were able to achieve a great victory.
