Dantrai is a small village of 2218 hectares in Reodar Tehsil in Sirohi district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dantrai depends on ABU ROAD, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 367.56% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dantrai is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dantrai's pin code is 307512[4], and village code is 02376800. The area of Dantrai is segregated as 530 hectares irrigated area, 171 hectares unirrigated, the 975.09 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 542 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of ABU ROAD and Sirohi to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
