Daniel J. Massimino (born March 18, 1995) is an American entrepreneur from the Pittsburgh area. His work spans business development, technology and finance. He founded MassTech Electronics and Credit Connection. Since 2023 he has worked as a consultant through Massimino International, where his work centers on training and evaluating AI models and on research across the venture capital and family office ecosystem.[1]
Early life and education
Massimino was raised in South Park, Pennsylvania, and studied finance at Duquesne University.
Career
MassTech Electronics (2009–2018)
Massimino started with labouring and electronics repair work. He then founded MassTech Electronics, which grew into a wholesale electronics import and export business.
Partnerships (2016–2018)
He was a partner in MassMedia LLC, which built websites, managed social media and created content for small businesses. He was also a partner in ETX Group, working on business development and deals. He held further sales and partnership roles, including at MassMobile.
Credit Connection (2018–2023)
He founded and ran a firm that helped clients repair credit, establish business credit and get access to funding.
Massimino International (2023–present)
As a consultant, he gives human feedback used to train and align frontier AI models. He also creates training data and tests new technology for capability and safety. Separately, he researches investor mandates and allocation trends across the venture and family office ecosystem. His current interests include AI and data monetization, strategic partnerships, international business, and emerging and dual-use technology.[2]

He also publishes a newsletter, The Memo.
