Daniel Massimino (born March 18, 1995) is an Italian serial entrepreneur, venture capitalist, and technologist. He is the Founder and CEO of The Credit Connection, an innovative solutions provider in credit services and business financing. Within a short time, Massimino is known to have gained fame and recognition as a high-end financing services provider lending a prolific clientele of professional business owners.[1][2]

Early life and education

Massimino was born and raised in South Park, Pennsylvania. He grew up being passionate about helping other people and solving their problems. His parents instilled in him the values of hard work, positivity, and moving forward at all costs amidst adversities. Massimino’s father got disabled when he was 12 years old, so Massimino started working at an early age. He managed to provide for his family by working as a laborer at a commercial plumbing company and at a pizza shop while working on MassTech in the evenings and early mornings. He studied finance and economics at Duquesne University.

Career

Massimino started his first business, MassTech, selling and repairing cell phones at the age of 12. He is known to have successfully grown it into a multimillion company. However, as a result of poor credit management, he went into bankruptcy at the age of 21.[3] Thereafter, he landed a commission-based sales job with a credit repair agency. While working at the company, he gained knowledge and experience and started saving to start his own financial company.[4][5]

In 2018, Massimino established The Credit Connection, a loan readiness company that aims at assisting consumers turn loan denials into approvals while helping business owners leverage business credit and get access to financing.[6] In 2022, Massimino founded Massimino Ventures, a global private equity venture capital firm, which is based in Pittsburgh.[7]
