Daniel Keller is an American entrepreneur, investment advisor, management executive, social worker, and finance professional. He is the founder of LUMA Capital, a financial advisory firm, and currently serves as the company’s president.[1] Keller also serves as the director for several investment companies and businesses including Roundlaw LLC, Apricot Atlantic, FD Music, Village Investments LLC, Mango Atlantic, and several others.[2]

Education

Keller completed his graduation in accounting from Webster University, Geneva. He later attended The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and completed his MBA in analytical finance, statistics, and econometrics.

Career

Keller started his career as a senior accountant in Switzerland at Prager and Fenton, a US-based company with offices in London, New York, Geneva, and Los Angeles. Later in his career, he was promoted to director and partner at Prager and Fenton and served the company for over 9 years. Keller has also served as a prominent board member for several Swiss companies across several sectors including healthcare, energy, education, and commodities.[3]

In 1999, Keller relocated to Naples, Florida, and founded LUMA Capital. Within two decades the company has expanded its operation to various subsidiaries and companies including LUMA Alternative Investments LLC. Keller is focused on capitalizing on wealth-generating opportunities in traditional investments, direct portfolio company investments, private equity, real estate, and other investment advisory services to selected families and family offices.[4]

Keller has also gained experience as an investor in the real estate industry. He has partnered with Monty’s Marina in Coral Gables, known for selling 7 buildings on Naples Fifth Avenue for $74 million, which were initially purchased for $53 million from Blackrock.

Keller is also an active member of the Naples, Florida community. Since 1999, after relocating to Florida, Keller has been engaged and providing volunteer service with several charities and foundations.

Personal life

Apart from his professional life, Keller is also an avid fisherman. He started fishing at the age of 8 with a traditional rod. Enhancing his fishing skills, he even took up fly fishing several years ago. He is known to have fished across several continents and plans to extend his fishing experience in Antarctica and Australia in recent years. He is skilled at fishing in both, fresh and salt water. Keller has set a target of fishing 50 different species on a fly rod and ensures to make a note with the fish picture, species name, rod, and the place where it was caught.
