Daniel David Pompa (born November 4, 1965) is an American health expert, author, speaker, and trainer known for his pioneering work in cellular detoxification, fasting protocols, and addressing chronic and neurotoxic conditions.[1] His own recovery process, which he refers to as “From Pain to Purpose to Promise,” became the foundation of his career in cellular health and wellness.[2]

Pompa is the founder of various health and wellness companies, including the Pompa Program, HealthCenters.com, and Cellular Solutions. He is the author of Beyond Fasting and Cellular Healing Diet and hosts the Cellular Healing TV podcast.[3]

Early life and education

Pompa was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Daniel “Danny” Anthony Pompa, a bricklayer, and Elizabeth “Betty” Stone, a homemaker who worked in administration and bookkeeping. From a young age, Pompa was known for his curiosity, determination, and strong sense of empathy, often stepping in to defend others from bullying. Though he faced the challenges of dyslexia, he channeled his determination into athletics, participating in baseball, football, and wrestling in middle school, and later wrestling and track in high school.

Pompa attended Gateway High School in Monroeville, Pennsylvania, graduating in 1984. He obtained an undergraduate degree in communication from the University of Pittsburgh and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1995 from Life University.

Career

Pompa began his career as a chiropractor until a personal health crisis in 2000 led him to explore alternative healing practices. He transitioned his career to focus on health and wellness after overcoming his own health challenges—specifically, a neurotoxic illness linked to heavy metall poisoning, leaving him with ongoing issues like brain fog, insomnia, and anxiety. Pompa developed a unique multi-therapeutic approach focusing on cellular detoxification, fasting, and ancestral-based health practices.[4]

In 2011, Pompa retired from chiropractic work to concentrate on coaching individuals facing similar neurotoxic and autoimmune challenges. In 2020, Pompa launched the Pompa Program, a family-run initiative offering a five-month personalized health regimen based on his cellular healing methods. This program includes detoxification, coaching, and nutritional strategies designed to help individuals with chronic fatigue, sensory integration issues, and other neurotoxic conditions.

Pompa also founded HealthCenters.com, which trains doctors, healthcare practitioners, and medical students on his protocols to address what he identifies as a “global toxicity epidemic.”

Pompa owns Cellular Solutions, a wholesale company that distributes herbal supplements developed from his protocols, including products such as core cellular detox, core cellular detox support, and core downstream detox support.

Over the years, Pompa has positioned himself as a thought leader in health and wellness. He is a regular speaker on worldwide health stages, including Bulletproof, Paleo f(x), the American College for Advancement in Medicine (ACAM), Mindshare, PBS, and the National Association of Nutrition Professionals (NANP). He educates both the public and health professionals on topics like cellular health, the ketogenic diet, inflammation-driven disease, and neurodegenerative conditions.

Personal life

Pompa lives in Park City, Utah. He married his wife, Merily Duster, in 1996. Together they have five children: Twins, Olivia and Dylan (1996), Daniel (1998), Izik (2000), Simon (2003). He is an avid pet lover and has three dogs and two cats.
