Dana Guerin is an American film producer, healthcare advocate, and philanthropist based in Los Angeles, California.[1] Her work spans film production, public health policy, and maternal health advocacy.
Career and Philanthropy
Dana Guerin is a film producer with Epic Level Entertainment, where she has worked on projects across horror and documentary genres. Her producing credits include The Taking of Deborah Logan, The Vault, Charlie Says, and Blood Born.[2] Her 2022 documentary Hargrove, which explores the life of jazz musician Roy Hargrove, was featured at multiple film festivals, jazz festivals, and museum exhibitions.[3]
Guerin is the founder of Guerin Children’s, a pediatric initiative at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center which opened in 2022 as the hospital’s first dedicated pediatric facility.[4] Her work focuses on expanding access to pediatric care and improving health outcomes for underserved populations.
She serves as a commissioner on the Los Angeles County Prevention and Community Health Task Force (appointed from 2025 through 2028) and co-leads the Black Maternal Health and Infant Mortality Ad Hoc Committee.[5]
Guerin has also contributed to the establishment of the UCLA Law Center for Reproductive Health Law and Policy. In addition, she has held leadership roles in Los Angeles County civic initiatives, including serving as head of District 3.
Guerin has served on the boards of several nonprofit and policy organizations, including:

- RAND Corporation (Social and Economic Policy Board)
- Los Angeles Guild for Reproductive Health

She previously served on the Board of Directors for the Planned Parenthood Advocacy Project (2015–2022) and continues to serve as an advisor.
