Damian Cox, professionally known as Damo Cox, is an Australian DJ, Electronic Music Producer,[1] Record Label owner, Radio Show Host[2] and Audio Engineer.
Career
Damo Cox was born in Mornington, Victoria, Australia.[3] Now based on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia,the former wakeboarder started DJing in 2015 and producing electronic music in 2018. He has records signed to Sorta Kinda Music and Hot Sunday Records. He started the record label Sorta Kinda Music in 2019, with fellow Australian DJ Sarah Wilkinson[4][3]. In 2019 he released 'Trends and Friends'[5] climbed up to went to #16 on the iTunes House: Australia Chart and reached #86 in the ARIA Club Chart, this was followed up 2020 with his collaboration with Sarah Wilkinson on 'My Mind' [Sorta Kinda Music] My Mind, retrieved 2021-01-05</ref>[6] which charted at #9 on the iTunes House: Australia Chart. 2020 also saw the release of 'Took a Bite' [Hot Sunday Records] Took a Bite, retrieved 2021-01-05</ref> (#44 Australia ARIA Club Buzz Chart)and 'Rolling Away' title=Rolling Away (#10 Traxsource Tech House Chart).[7] In 2016, Damo Cox became host of a weekly radio show called 'Sorta Kinda Radio' which features a range of House Music and it's sub-genres on the Gold Coast radio station 105.7 Radio Metro.[8][4]
