Abdulazeez Abdulganiy Opeyemi, also known as DJ Zeeez, is a Nigerian musician and Social media publicist. He was born on April 26, 1998. DJ Zeeez is well known for the popular song Zaddy, which was released in 2021. [1]

Early life

DJ Zeeez was raised in Minna, Niger State, where he was born. He studied Project Management Technology at the Federal University of Technology, Minna in Niger State.[2]

Career

DJ Zeeez, nurtured by a desire to pursue a music career since his teenage years, eventually followed his passion, formally entering the music industry in 2016. Despite his status as a student at the Federal University of Technology, Minna, he began connecting with local artists and crafting his own music.

While many early singles didn't achieve commercial success, they earned him recognition within the student community. Invitations to perform at on-campus events followed. In January 2019, his career gained momentum with the release of 'Gang,' featuring singer Kdream, receiving acclaim from critics and substantial airplay.

In May 2019, DJ Zeeez continued his success with ‘Dey Alright’, featuring Ijaya and Otega.[3] Collaborations remained a key part of his journey. 'Chika,' a collaboration with Kdream and Base One, soared on Boomplay music charts.[4] Wrapping up 2019, he treated fans to the festive track 'Finito,' featuring Superboy Cheque, Spotless, and Kdream.[5]

During the early pandemic stages, he gifted fans with the another song 'Sho Ti Broke,' featuring Jaido P. Almost a year later, DJ Zeeez collaborated once more with Jaido P and introduced rapper Papisnoop in the captivating single 'Zaddy,' released on January 15, 2021. [3][6]

He later released another single WYFD’ (Wetin you fit do) featuring Lyta on 25 November 2022.[7]
