CryptoBear Watch Club is a collection of 3,010 exclusive NFT collectibles that will live on the Ethereum Blockchain.The CWBC NFTs are 3D-enabled avatars generated with 450+ unique traits featuring Crypto Bears that represent a distinct identity for every holder.[1] All owners will be airdropped with 3D files to enable usage of their avatars across the Metaverse. NFT holders will have access to the Club’s premium 6×6 Sandbox plot and will be awarded with rare drops, giving them the ticket to enter into special games, puzzles, and competitions. Real luxury watches worth USD 1 million in total will be awarded to NFT owners at regular intervals.[2][3]
Background
CryptoBear Watch Club is the brainchild of Metaknight Founder and CEO of Planet Arkouda, which is central to the CBWC story. Headquartered in the Metaverse, Planet Arkouda sits on a 6x6 plot in Sandbox, adjacent to the central Atari hub. Arkouda is characterized by a sprawling natural landscape, ancient magic forms, and objects of desire from the contemporary world. Like all the other creatures in Arkouda, the bears dream of overthrowing the ape tyranny and wrest control over Arkouda.[4]
The collection witnessed its public sale on February 22, 2022. The price of each NFT is at 1 ETH on dutch auction to a minimum mint price of 0.5 ETH. With every 1,000 mints, members will be rewarded with real watches from a limited edition collection. In addition, lucky NFT holders will have an opportunity to own exclusive Arkuoda utility tokens, which can be redeemed for real watches every month.[5]
CBWC NFT is targeted towards people whose interests include investments, NFT holding, cryptocurrency, digital art, stocks, luxury goods, luxury watches, and art collections.[6] Royalties generated from the secondary market sales of the NFTs will be used by CBWC to purchase luxury watches, which NFT owners can redeem directly on the CBWC website using Arkouda tokens.[7]
The collection’s artwork is designed by Stuart Holroyd, an International Commercial Illustrator, who has worked on multiple film projects with directors and studios under Warner Brothers, Netflix, Animal Planet and History Channel to name a few.[8]
Technology
All CryptoBear Watch Club NFTs are stored as ERC-721 tokens on the Ethereum Blockchain. Post minting, 3D artists will develop 3,010 3D model NFTs of the CBWC mints. A 6x6 plot has been purchased in Sandbox and owners of the original 2D collection will be airdropped the 3D-enabled avatars, which can be used across different Metaverse platforms. The avatars will also be activated in a play-to-earn, massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) to be launched in the future.

Each CBWC NFT is uniquely hand-drawn and programmatically generated with 450+ unique traits—such as character fur, outfit, watch, color, horological complication, and other facets, ensuring each piece is a distinct work of art.
Roadmap of CryptoBear Watch Club NFT
Post launch development will commence on a P2E game, further expanding the Lore of Arkouda and introducing multiple characters catered to the luxury goods market. Play-to-earn MMORPG games are also in line for release in the near future once the other characters in world of Arkouda are released.[9]
Cracking the puzzles will entitle the members to new NFTs that will be launched in the future, as well as invites to global events and whitelisting on future drops will take place. CBWC is also introducing customized Arkouda-branded merchandise that goes beyond hoodies and sneakers to feature a home-grown brand of luxury watches which will be shipped to the most loyal CBWC members.[10]
