Conor MacDari was the pen name of John A. Geran[1], who was best known for his writings about the ancient history of Ireland.

John A. Geran was born 08 Jun 1860 and died in 17 Dec 1947.[2] He was married to Sarah S. Marsh (02 Mar 1865 - 02 Feb 1940). [3]

His son George P. Geran (22 Feb 1895 - Dec 1968)[4] used the pen name Conor MacDari Jnr[5] to write the book The Bible - An Irish Book[6][7]

George donated four of his father's works to Columbia University.[8]
