Compuware Technology Inc. (Chinese: 肯微科技股份有限公司) is a Taiwanese electronics manufacturer founded in 2004, with headquarters in Zhonghe District, New Taipei City, Taiwan. The company produces power supply units (PSUs), power shelves, and Internet of Things (IoT) hardware solutions, and motherboard.

Products and Applications

Compuware's power supply products are used in various industrial and computing environments, including servers, industrial PCs, data centers, artificial intelligence (AI) applications, and GPU-accelerated systems.

Operations and Expansion

As of 2024, Compuware employs approximately 1,400 people globally, with an annual PSU production capacity of around 1.2 million units. In 2023, the company expanded its manufacturing operations with a new facility in Malaysia, increasing capacity and serving a growing international market.[1]

Compuware is also a member of the Open Compute Project (OCP), contributing to open-source hardware standards for data centers.[2]

Distinction from Compuware Corporation

Although sharing the "Compuware" name, Compuware Technology Inc. is a distinct and separate entity from Compuware Corporation, a U.S.-based software company founded in 1973. Compuware Corporation historically specialized in mainframe software and IT services, and was acquired by BMC Software in 2020. In contrast, Compuware Technology Inc. is a Taiwanese electronics manufacturer established in 2004, focusing on power solutions and hardware.

A trademark dispute arose concerning the "COMPUWARE" name, which ultimately led to Compuware Technology Inc. redesigning its logo in 2019 and 2020 to differentiate its branding.[3] </ref>
