CloudCodes is an Indian based IT company founded by Debasish Pramanik, Rahul Bhavsar, and Anuraag Singh. The company is known for working on the cloud security of the data uploaded by the users/enterprises via its CASB solutions. The company was established in 2011 and is headquartered in Pune. CloudCodes has acquired many awards and certifications and is a SOC Type-II certified company.[1]

CloudCodes gained media traction for their first product gLogin or gControl, which provides an additional security layer to google apps. Over time the company has enriched the solution to offer enhanced access control, shadow IT, single sign-on, cloud access security broker, cloud DLP, and other products.[2]

Since its inception, CloudCodes has secured over 200K users globally and has been recognized as one of the leading sample vendors for Cloud Security and SaaS Security by Gartner, an analyst firm. The company has been featured in many media outlets for its user-friendly solutions that are now utilized in the automobile, airline, hotel, banking, and finance industries across the globe.

History

CloudCodes was founded in November 2011 by Rahul Bhavsar, Debasish Pramanik, and Anuraag Singh. The trio worked to launch CloudCodes' first product - gLogin, to secure google apps.[3]

gLogin gained recognition for its framework and offering many solutions with expertise in Google Apps Security, Cloud Security, Cloud Backup, CloudCodes for G Suite (gControl), Single Sign-On, and CloudCodes for Business (SSO1). This product was designed to bridge the security gaps between enterprises and the cloud.[4]

CloudCodes has also developed CASB solutions, an integrated solution for enterprises to help in implementing rigorous security policies and achieve better data governance, data security, and control over the data and the users.

Funding

CloudCodes has secured $350K in two founding rounds:

  • In 2014 CloudCodes $100K seed funded by ex-Googler
  • In 2016 CloudCodes is funded $250K USD by SysTools Software Private Limited
