Christopher Aleo is an Italian-Swiss banker, entrepreneur, and philanthropist.[1] He is best known as the CEO of iSwiss Bank.[2] Aleo is known for his innovative approaches to investment and development and has expanded iSwiss into a global financial institution with interests in banking, real estate, film production, and philanthropy.[3][4]

Early life and education

Aleo’s father was an Italian aviation entrepreneur, and his mother was a Belgian fashion designer. He gained early experience in the aviation industry through his father’s business. Aleo later pursued education in the United States, studying the UK and Swiss economies.

Career

Aleo founded his first company at age 19, a building firm that integrated finance with property development, offering innovative design and affordable smart home solutions.[5] His work in finance continued to grow with the establishment of iSwiss Bank, a Swiss-based deposit company headquartered in Lugano.[6] Under Aleo's leadership, iSwiss expanded its operations across Italy, Canada, Sweden, the UK, Dubai, and other countries, positioning itself as a global financial institution with multiple banking, financial, and insurance licenses worldwide.[7]

As CEO of iSwiss, Aleo has introduced significant technological advancements, such as iSwiss Pay, which facilitates near-instantaneous international money transfers.[8] In 2023, he launched the iSwiss Hedge Fund, targeting institutional investments with SEC registration and a $1.5 billion capital goal, aimed particularly at American pension funds.[9]

Aleo has also ventured into film production through iSwiss Films. His first film, Comandante, premiered at the 80th Venice Film Festival.[10] He has also partnered with digital characters Bubu and Dudu, using the characters’ large fan base to promote iSwiss.[11] The partnership includes establishing a foundation to support educational initiatives for underprivileged children in India.[12]

Aleo has also entered the real estate sector, leading a €173 million luxury development in Phuket, featuring high-end villas and a five-star hotel.[13][14][15]
