Christina Sternberg (c. 1971) is an American businesswoman. She has held notable positions in industry leading multinationals including AMC Theatres, the largest movie theater chain in the world, Sprint Corporation, which merged with T-Mobile USA to become the 2nd largest US telecom operator, and SoftBank Group Corporation, a Japanese conglomerate headquartered in Tokyo and owning stakes in diverse, industry leading global companies. [1], [2] SoftBank also runs the Vision Fund, the world's largest technology-focused venture capital fund, with over $100 billion in capital. [3],[4]

Sternberg's work with established publicly traded companies is consistently marked by transformational growth. While at AMC Theatres (NYSE: AMC), Sternberg was responsible for AMC's industry leading installation of plush, power recliners. She also co-designed and implemented AMC's Dine-In Theatres, which massively expanded and improved food and drink options for guests. Sternberg launched AMC's partnership with IMAX. [1]

While at Sprint (NYSE:S) the company achieved record setting financial results, which positioned it for a merger with T-Mobile USA. Sternberg oversaw the merger regulatory approval process, which was successfully concluded in April 2020. [5]

Sternberg helped launch the SoftBank Operating Group, the SoftBank Latam Fund, a $5B fund dedicated to technology-based, disruptive companies in the Latin American region and SoftBank Opportunity Fund, a $100M fund dedicated to entrepreneurs of color. [6],[7]

Sternberg received her Bachelors of Science from the University of California - Davis. She obtained her Master in Business Administration from Kellogg School of Business, Northwestern University.

Sternberg is married to her husband, Michael Lawhead, with whom she has three children - Dianna, Truman and Vivian. They live in Kansas City, Missouri.
