Choi Yeon-jun (Korean language|Korean:최연준; born September 13, 1999), known mononymously as Yeonjun, is a South Korean singer and member of the boy group TXT under Big Hit Entertainment.
Early Life
Yeonjun was born on September 13, 1999, in South Korea, as an only child. In 2019, he enrolled into Global Cyber University's Broadcasting and Entertainment department.[1]
Prior to his debut, he trained with Big Hit Entertainment for 4 years.[2]
Career
2019-present: Debut with TXT
In January 2019, in a introduction film, titled "What Do you Do?" Yeonjun was the first member of TXT (band)|TXT to be revealed.[3] On March 10th, he officially debuted as a member of the group, with their first EP, The Dream Chapter: Star.[4]
In December 2019, Yeonjun was a special MC for SBS' Inkigayo, alongside group member Soobin.[5]
On December 29, 2020, it was confirmed that Yeonjun will make his acting debut in the finale JTBC series, Live On (TV series)|Live On.[6]
In Feb 2021, Yeonjun made his official New York Fashion Week debut.[7]
