Chinmay gaur is an Indian Classical flute performer and a music composer.He started his advanced flute learning under the guidance of Padma Bhushan Awardee Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia and presently learning from Flute maestro Pt.Rupak Kulkarni Along with flute he can play a variety of instruments like violin, guitar, piano, etc.[1]

Early life

Chinmay gaur was born in Udaipur(Rajasthan).He started learning music at the age of 13 years from his first guru Shree Govind Gandhavra and later he learned the aesthetic and spiritual part of music from his guru Shree Sudhakar piyush.[2]


Chinmay completed his bachelor's and master of performing arts degree from the faculty of performing arts MS.University of baroda.


For an year chinmay served as the faculty in the music college vadodara of Ms university but later on he decided to move mumbai.

He got his first break is south indian Blockbuster film Sye ra Narsihma reddy as flutist,violinist and stuti composer under the guidance of famous bollywood composer Julius packiam .

Later he played some flute piece's for housefull and wrote composed the melody of swayamvar theme for the movie.

Along with recordings and live shows ,chinmay gaur has a youtube channel.
