Chew Wei Xiang (born March 16, 1998) is a Singaporean forex trader, investor, educator, speaker, and entrepreneur.[1] He is the founder and CEO of the forex market mentoring and training organization PrinceFroggyFX.[2]
Early life and education
Wei Xiang was born and raised in Singapore. He enrolled at the Institute of Technical Education, graduating with a NITEC certificate in 2016.
Career
Wei Xiang started his career as a corporate sales executive before leaving to join his then-girlfriend's mother's Forex MLM organization. Unfortunately, he encountered a setback when he became a victim of a scam, losing his savings of $27,000.[3]
With an aim to learn forex trading, Wei Xiang started trading with just $1000. For three years, he developed his skills and devised a low-risk and high-reward trading strategy by incorporating technical, fundamental, and sentimental analysis. As of 2023, Wei Xiang’s asset management portfolio has surpassed $70 million.[4] In February 2021, Wei Xiang made a significant mark in the Forex CFD industry by achieving a 1:42 risk-to-reward ratio, risking 2% on a trade, gaining 84% profit, and recognition from industry leaders.[5]
To address the challenges faced by novices, Wei Xiang established the PrinceFroggyFX mentorship program, an education program that teaches the everyday person how to trade. Wei Xiang combined his years of self-learning, experience, and expertise in forex trading to educate traders about technical analysis, risk management, and trading psychology. He began delivering learning sessions to new and seasoned forex traders. His lessons aim at advancing risk assessment knowledge in a simple and accessible language to help traders engage in trading actions based on low-risk and high-reward trading strategies.
In addition, Wei Xiang operates a Telegram and YouTube channel where he shares market analysis content, perspectives, and trade calls. In less than 3 years since their beginning, his channels have amassed over 400 subscribers. Wei Xiang also imparts his trading experiences, strategies, and industry insights through webinars, guiding traders toward financial success.
