Cherie Barber (born 13 February, 1970) is an Australian renovator,[1] property investment expert,[2] public speaker[3][4] and lifestyle TV presenter. She is recognised as an authority on renovating for profit across media.[5][6][7][8][9][10] Barber is publicly known for her long-running TV presenting roles on Network Ten’s The Living Room (2011–2019)[11] and her own TV Show on America’s HGTV Network titled Five Day Flip where she renovated whole houses in just 5 days.[12][13][14] She is also a regular fixture on Network Nine's Today Extra show covering how to renovate on a budget.[15]
As an ambassador for Asbestos Awareness, Barber is passionate about educating homeowners and property investors about the dangers of asbestos and its proper disposal when renovating properties.[16][17] She is also a big advocate for recycling & repurposing items to minimise environmental landfill and contamination.[18]
