Chabot Mobility
Chabot Mobility, formerly Born Consulting Networks Co., Ltd., is a South Korean mobility service platform that provides services such as auto dealer customer relationship management solution and driver vehicle management solution, such as vehicle purchase, maintenance, and vehicle sales.[1] Chabot Mobility has two offices in Korea - one in Seoul and one in Byeollae.
History
Born Consulting Networks was founded in September 2016 by Sunggun Kang to expand services in the automobile industry by utilizing his experience as an auto dealer. Kang and his company launched "Carveryday, an O2O online car sales brokerage platform. The following year, in July 2017, the company opened a direct auto insurance comparison service called "Born Direct and expanded its business to auto financing product recommendation and used car sales concierge. In early 2020, Born Consulting Networks was renamed as Chabot Mobility, with a long-term goal of becoming a mobility platform service for all drivers in Korea. In September 2020, Chabot Mobility raised KRW 2.5 billion in a Series A round of funding led by investments from TS Investments and Nau IB Capital.[2]
Chabot Mobility announced its brand renewal in December 2020.[3] Chabot Mobility's main colors are hot pink, dark navy, and black. The hot Chabot pink, derived from the Korean highway guidance line, suggests a clear direction for the users' car life, while the dark navy and black symbolize professionalism and credibility. In addition, the flag-shaped logo, based on the initials C and B of Chabot, portrays the innovative and pioneering image of the company.[4]
