CarZing, formerly operating as Car Harmony[1], is a privately owned Los Angeles-based online car-buying marketplace founded in 2015 that is best known for specializing in providing prequalified lending results for online car shoppers and providing Consumer|consumers with the ability to instantly pre-qualify for auto financing.[2][3]

History

The company was initially founded as Car Harmony in December 2015.[4][5][6] In January 2017, it was rebranded into CarZing. The company was founded by President/Vice Chairman Bret Hankey, Nowcom President Jay Kamdar to build a premium online car shopping experience for customers and Car dealerships.[7]

Business

CarZing operates as an online-only car dealer that offers consumers more transparency and insight into their purchasing options and empowers them to take control of their financing. Clients can structure a deal using down payment, term and monthly payment to find a car that aligns with their situation.[8]

As of 2020, CarZing has over 3 million new and used vehicles listed and has a network of over 30,000 dealerships on the site. From 2016-2020, CarZing’s monthly prequalified shoppers has increased from a few hundred a month to over 30,000 per month.

Alliances and Partnerships

In February 2020, American based Irish-domiciled multinational consumer credit reporting company Experian announced a strategic partnership with CarZing. As part of the partnership, dealerships with AutoCheck subscriptions can now list their inventory on the company's website for no additional fees.[9][10]

CarZing’s partnerships include Westlake Financial, Experian, Credit Karma, Autolist,iSeeCars, CarGurus, TrueCar, and DealerCenter.[11][12][13]
