Brooke Siem

Brooke Siem is an American chef and writer. She is known for winning episode List of Chopped episodes (seasons 21–40) of Food Network's Chopped (TV series).

Early Life

Siem was born in Reno, Nevada and attended Middlebury College.[1][2] She received her Diploma of Culinary Arts from the Institute of Culinary Education.[3]

Career

In 2011, Siem founded Prohibition Bakery in New York City after meeting her business partner on a birthright trip to Israel. In 2014, Siem was named one of Zagat's 30 Under 30 for her work at Prohibition Bakery.[4] Siem's co-authored cookbook, Prohibition Bakery, was published in 2015.[5] Prohibition Bakery closed after a rent hike in 2017.[6]

After leaving Prohibition Bakery, Siem shifted her focus to writing about food and her experience with antidepressant withdrawal.[7][8]
