Guava (aka Bradley Hutchings) is a Berlin based producer, session guitarist and composer from London, England.
Early life
Hutchings was born in Bloomsbury, London, the son of Louise Scott and Tony Hutchings. His father was a photographer making his name with the The Chronicle (South Australia), Sunday Times, and Getty Images [1]; his mother was an actor/model and featured in music videos with bands such as Ultravox, Rick Astley and David Bowie. Though originally from London, Hutchings' family lived in the town of Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire. Hutchings, who grew up at the edge of the Chiltern Hills in Hertfordshire, has described his childhood as "suburban tedium, with occasional flashes of excitement"[2]. Hutchings' ancestry is English and Italian.
Education
Hutchings was educated at Rudolf Steiner School Kings Langley, that taught Waldorf education. He received a gliding scholarship when he was 14 and nearly went down the path of commercial aviation. He still has a valid Fédération Aéronautique Internationale sailplane licence[3]. He did work experience at the Hospital Club when he was 15.
Starting in 2012, Hutchings read Music at the University of Gloucestershire, graduating in 2015 with First Class Honours. Directly after graduating, Hutchings began working as an understudy of Film and TV composer Walter Mair. He wrote music for the Netflix series The Same Sky.
Session Work
As a guitarist, Hutchings became a member of Malena Zavala and Francess Lion[4], touring with the likes of Lord Huron[5], Nathaniel Rateliff, Men I Trust, Band of Horses.

His work as an electronic producer[6] [7] [6][8]has been supported by DJs Ben UFO, Jamie XX and Mary Anne Hobbs, who cited him as "The next one to watch"[9]He currently lives in Neukolln, Berlin and is a resident on Refuge World Wide.
