Bulent Brad Yasar (born January 14, 1976 ) is a Serial Entrepreneur, Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Advisor, Angel Investor, and Keynote Speaker.[1] He is the founder of Beyond Enterprizes, a leading blockchain, and fintech advisory firm based in Cheyenne, WY. He is also the co-founder of Blockchain Investors Consortium (BIC), the managing director of Yasar Corporation, and the CEO of EQIFi, a DeFi protocol in partnership with a digital bank (EQIBank), that provides cross-platform transactions and a fiat gateway for the mass market.[2]

Yasar is best known for his vast experience in the crypto and blockchain industry. He has over two decades of experience in actively working on expanding the new digital economy and bringing forth new-age investment. He has been featured in several media outlets such as NY Times, Yahoo Finance, Daily Herald, MarketWatch, Bloomberg, CNN, The Daily Press, The Chronicle Journal, The Buffalo News, and others.[3]

Early life and education

Yasar was born in Turkey but has lived and traveled throughout Europe, including England, France, and Greece. Yasar studied at Académie de Grenoble, France, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Sciences Math in 1996. He migrated to the United States in 1996 to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business Management at the Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. He graduated in 1999.

Career

Yasar started his career at an early age programming on his Commodore 64 & Sinclair Spectrum 48 personal computers, developing and selling software. 1999 he joined Terra Company, formerly known as Y&M Co., as a Manager. He worked for over three years at this company managing international trade and investments.[4]

In 2003, Yasar founded Yasar Corporation, a global business consulting firm based in Las Vegas. He started working on international M&As in the fintech and banking sector with a focus on restructuring human capital.[5]

In 2012, Yasar founded Beyond Enterprizes, a pioneering strategic advisory firm that offers a vast range of services related to new software development, business advisory, business model review and fundraising strategy, digital storytelling, market making, and treasury management. It operates across four continents and since its inception has partnered with over 50 fintech businesses including, EOS, Bancor, and the HDAC, with a specific focus on Insurtech, FinTech, and DeFi.[6]

In 2013, Yasar co-founded The Three One Zero Group, a public relations company. He stayed in this venture for a year and then left to invest in other projects. In 2014, Yasar became a partner at Intervallo Consulting Group, a management and consulting company based in California.

In 2015, he co-founded and became the managing member and COO of CrowdfundX, a leading marketing agency in LA, where he worked for a year. In the same year, he co-founded SlashMyFees, where he worked for over two years.

In 2016, Yasar founded KrowdMentor, a strategic investment and advisory firm empowering blockchain investors, funds, startups, and entrepreneurs to reach their liquidity goals. He was associated with this company for over two years. In the same year, he also became a member of the Young Entrepreneur Council (YEC).[7]

In 2017, Yasar became the COO of d10e, a leading conference on decentralization exploring Blockchain, ICOs, FinTech, Disruptive Tech, Startups, and Culture. He worked for a year for this event. In the same year, Yasar founded Opus V, a venture studio based in Santa Monica. In the same year, he founded Blockchain Investors Consortium (BIC), an organization that allows its members to share due diligence and to co-invest in blockchain ventures.

In 2018, Yasar co-founded and became the COO of HYVE, an IT firm based in Malta. In 2019, he became a partner at Network Society Lab. In 2020, Yasar was elected as a senator of WBAF (World Business Angels Forum), an international organization that helps startup companies avail investments. In 2021, Yasar became the CEO of EQIFi, a DeFi protocol in partnership with a digital bank (EQIBank), that provides cross-platform transactions and a fiat gateway for the mass market.[8]

Personal life

Yasar is fluent in English, French, Turkish, and has a basic knowledge of German and Spanish. He currently lives in Los Angeles with his family.
