Cloud Hash Rate
Bitdeer offers cloud hash rate services, allowing users to mine cryptocurrencies without the need for physical mining hardware. This service provides a flexible and cost-effective way for individuals and businesses to participate in mining.
Technology and Innovation
Minerplus, a self-developed integrated intelligent software platform, offers software support to significantly reduce the time needed for daily maintenance and mining machine upgrades, minimizing operations and maintenance personnel needs.
Community and Social Responsibility
Bitdeer has taken various measures to increase the ratio of clean energy in support of the mining datacenter’s operations. The company's research and development team continuously works on improving the efficiency and performance of mining machines and developing new technologies to reduce energy consumption and environmental impact.
In 2021, Bitdeer Group sponsored the University of Wyoming's annual WyoHackathon. Its contribution allowed the University of Wyoming students to engage with cryptocurrency industry experts and leaders across emerging blockchain use cases.
In 2021, the Bitdeer Group donated to Rockdale Volunteer Firefighters. This donation allowed first responders to purchase emergency ventilation equipment.[10]
Acquisitions
The company expanded into a physical asset space and spent $40 million ($28.4 million) to buy Le Freeport, a maximum-security vault in Singapore. The vault was originally constructed to resemble the high-security storage vaults in Luxembourg and Geneva. Freeport has also been dubbed Singapore's Fort Knox for fine art and collectibles.[11][12]
