Benedix Esguerra Ramos (September 14, 1999) is a Filipino content creator, singer, host and actor. He started his career as a content creator and received his YouTube Silver Play button in 2020. He debuted on Philippine television as the Streamboy Apo ng Pangasinan when he entered as a celebrity housemate in the Pinoy Big Brother: Kumunity Season 10. He is part of Love in 40 Days.[1], an ongoing teleserye of ABS-CBN.
Life and career
Early life and education
Ramos was born on September 14, 1999 in Dagupan, Pangasinan. He attended his elementary and secondary education in his hometown and moved to Baguio City for his college education. He lived in Baguio for ten (10) years before finally deciding to move to Manila to pursue his dream to be in showbusiness.
2018 - 2020: Career Beginnings
In 2018, Benedix Ramos started his Youtube Channel. He then received his YouTube Creator Awards in 2020 after reaching 100,000 subscribers.
In 2020, he was casted in a lead role as Aron Villegas / Aron / Unggoy (Monkey) in the boy-love series Better Days.[2]
2021-present
In the first half of 2021, Ramos was casted in GMA News TV and GTV (Philippine TV network) My Fantastic Pag-ibig as Daniel, the leading man's bestfriend in episode Ghosted.
In the same year, he landed two commercials: Jollibee for the Jollibee Spicy Champ burger, and TM (cellular service) for the TM EasySurf50.
In October 2021, Ramos entered the Pinoy Big Brother house for the Kumunity Season 10 edition as the Streamboy Apo ng Pangasinan and an official celebrity housemate after winning the "Online Bahay ni Kuya on Kumu (social network)" campaign[3]. He was later evicted together with fellow housemate Shanaia Gomez.[4]
After his exit at the Pinoy Big Brother House, Ramos was signed as an artist in ABS-CBN StarHunt Management. He performed in the Star Magic Christmas Special 2021 with his co-celebrity housemates[5]
In 2022, he was casted as George Casimiro in Love in 40 Days|Love in 40 days, a Dreamscape Entertainment series, together with Loisa Andalio and Ronnie Alonte.[6]
In May 2022, he also took part in the Star Magic Games, and won first runner-up in the badminton category[7]
He also performed in several ASAP (Philippine TV program)|ASAP Natin 'to episodes.
