Paul Benedikt Stehle (*december 9, 1984 in Sigmaringen) is a german drummer[1] based in Berlin.

Life

He is the current drummer for bands such as the balkan band Fanfare Ciocarlia from Romania and Sandhy Sondoro from Indonesia. Aged 17 he moved to Berlin to become a professional musician and proceded to do so. At the age of 21 Benedikt moved to the USA to study at Berklee College of Music and the Los Angeles College of Music both with full scholarships. He studied and toured for 2 years in the US and overseas while living and participating in the NYC music scene. During that time he went to work as a touring drummer for the Boston based rapper Sammy Adams. After resettling in Berlin in 2008 he worked on tour, in the studio or on TV with artists just as Beth Hart, MousseT., Barbara Tucker, Dendemann, Emma Lanford, Eugene Hütz (Gogol Bordello), Della Miles, Drum Connection, Fetsum, Steve Lillywhite, Mo’ Blow, The Weather Girls, Aly Keita, Sandhy Sondoro, Fanfare Ciocarlia[2] and many more. As well as touring around the globe he is regularly recording for the music and movie industry as an experienced studio musician. Benedikt is endorsed by Ludwig Drums, Istanbul Cymbals, Agner Sticks, Gewa Drum Parts and Axis Drum Pedals.
