Beifa Group (Simplified Chinese:贝发集团), founded in 1994, is a Chinese factory based in Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, focused in writing instruments manufacturing.[1] [2]. [3]Beifa is one of the biggest stationery exporters in China[4].[5]And is the National Manufacturing Individual champion[6].

Beifa led the project of producing a ballpoint pen using China-made materials and parts, which had been questioned by Premier Li Keqiang many times ,because of China's inability to make the high-grade steel and precision machinery required to make the key component of the pens-the metal ball.[7].[8][9]

Beifa was selected to sponsor the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games[10].[11]

Pens used by heads of states attending the 2017 BRICS summits were manufactured by Beifa Group[12][13].

At the 2016 G20 Hangzhou summit, the ballpoint pens provided to all heads of state who attended the summit were designed and produced by the Beifa Group[14].

Beifa was invited to attend Paperworld China in 2020[15].

Beifa Group is a large stationery “aircraft carrier” with the capability of research and design, manufacturing, sales, and international trade service in all[16].

Award

Beifa Group was awarded the Red Dot Design Award both in 2018[17] and 2020[18]
