Austin Silver (January 4, 1995) is an American day trader and trading coach.[1][2][3] He is best known as the founder of ASFX, an education platform for day trading.[4][5][6] Austin has as social media reach of over 200k followers across all of the platforms.[7][8]
Early life and education
Silver was born in New Jersey to Cole Silver, father, and Carol Silver, mother. From a young age, Austin realized that entrepreneurship was the only true path to freedom. As a kid, he was often seen running garage sales or shoveling snow for money.
Silver graduated from Moorestown High School in 2013, and finished three years of college at Rowan University before dropping out of the university to focus on his trading business.
Career
Austin began his career in finance facilitating the sale of insurance products at Northwestern Mutual and then later Mass Mutual.[9][10][11]
Silver started out as a retail trader in 2015 in his college dorm room.[12][13]
In 2018, Silver joined T3 Live as a Senior Forex Analyst, where he hosted daily live trading rooms and also ran weekly Q&A sessions to help educate new traders.[14]
In 2019, Austin left T3 Live and founded ASFX. The business provides day trading education services for people interested in becoming self-sufficient traders through courses, seminars, and webinars.[15]
ASFX has grown into one of the largest day trading education services in the world on the back of it’s best selling product, the Starter Pack.[16][17][18] This is a bundle of courses that teach the backtested trading strategies that Austin and his team built.[19][20][21]
With over 2,000 members, Austin leads a team of Coaches at ASFX as they help new and struggling traders gain more education on how to make it as a day trader.[22][23][24][25]
Philanthropy
Austin is also a philanthropist at heart who has contributed to the cause of poverty alleviation and helping children reach their full potential.[26] He has volunteered for the Philadelphia Breakfast Mission and Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.[27]
Personal life
Austin is married to Rylee Silver, his partner in crime. Together they live with their family in Tampa, Florida.
