Major General Ashwani Kumar Channan, PVSM, SM
IC-41960N Major General Ashwani Kumar Channan, PVSM, SM is a retired artillery officer of Indian Army[1][2].He has been involved in the Make in India (Defense) initiative since 2012 and has conceptualized and raised Army Design Bureau for Indian Army[3]. He was the first ADG of Army Design Bureau.[4][5]He was the Chairperson of Defence Committee, Federation of Indian Industry.[6]
Early life and Education
He is an alumni of National Defence Academy, Defense Services Staff College, Higher Command Wing, Army War College and National Defence College.He is a prolific writer.[3]
Recognition
He was awarded Param Vishist Sewa Medal in 2020and Sena Medal in 2015.[7][8][9]
