Antonio Roulet Magides (born on 12 September 1996, Subang Jaya, Malaysia) better known as Antonio Roulet is a Swiss British R&B, Soul musician, trader and television personality. He is regarded as a notable musician in Europe to produce singles that express funk and dance on the digital platforms including Google Play Music, Deezer, iTunes and Spotify.[1] His stage performance at the audition in American Idol has drawn media coverage.[2]
Born in Subang Jaya, Malaysia, Roulet made his professional debut in 2013 to make a contribution in raising money at the Lamdon School Ladakh Fundraiser in Singapore with his first official operatic gig. Roulet gained momentum with his first single “Sweet Bum Moves” released on May 2020 amidst on covid pandemic.[3] Roulet is slowly gaining an audience in R&B and soul music industry with his new collaborations with artists to create his second house EP "One More Time" featuring Wendy Van Horen.[4]
Roulet’s social media handles have attracted followers and sold designer merchandise using the label Antonio Roulet. This has attracted the attention of other well-known artists and entertainers around Europe to collaborate with Roulet.[5]
Early life and education
Antonio Roulet was born in Subang Jaya, Malaysia on 12th September 1996. He is the second of the three children in the Roulet family and was raised in Singapore. Roulet completed his high school diploma in Canadian International School, Singapore. In 2017, he graduated with a bachelor degree in Advertising and Business Management from Suffolk University, Boston. In 2018, Antonio went back to study at Glion Institute of Higher Education to obtain his Masters Finance degree.
In 2013, Antonio Roulet performed at a fundraising concert in Singapore to raise for Lamdon School Ladakh. The event was called Lamdon School Ladakh Fundraiser event and this marked the debut operatic gig of Antonio Roulet.
Career
Antonio Roulet began his musical career while contributing to a society with a fundraiser event in 2013. He played his first official operatic gig, raising money for the Lamdon School Ladakh Fundraiser in Singapore.
Roulet released his first Single in May 2020, titled "Sweet Bum Moves," which was well received. Radio Stations in the Canton of Vaud, Switzerland took notice such as "Radio Chablais" and "Rouge FM" and it was frequently played on them. After gaining early popularity, Roulet made a big move in his music career and switched to R&B / Soul music style.
On July 6th, 2020, Roulet started collaborating with other artists to work on his second house EP "One More Time" that was featuring Wendy Van Horen.
Personal life
Antonio Roulet was raised in Singapore by his mother Ariane, his father, Richard, with his younger and older brothers Connor and Georges. As of August 2020, Roulet lives in both Switzerland and the United Kingdom with his longtime girlfriend and business partner Logan. Roulet is recognised for his fluency in English, and French.
