Anshul Vijayvargiya is a Mumbai-based Indian Screenwriter, Director and published Author who is prominently known for his work in the Hindi television industry, Films and Music Videos.

He has written several TV shows such as Aahat (2010), Adaalat (2010), Rudrakaal (2021), Arjun (2012), MTV Webbed (2013), Dil Dosti Dance (2011), Gumrah (2012), Savdhaan India (2012) Agent Raghav and Aashiqana 3. He has also directed episodes for Adaalat (2010) and Dil Dosti Dance (2011). His book Tune for the Dead was published by HarperCollins in the year 2019. Anshul is also the creative director of SK Music Works and has directed several music videos for them. Additionally, Vijayvargiya is also the creative producer and show director of Perfect Amalgamation, a contemporary instrumental fusion show. He recently directed a music video Rab ni Maaf Karega for Zee Music Company. His latest work Azadi - a musical short film, written & directed by Anshul, which has a soundtrack sung by popular Indian singer Mohit Chauhan was launched by Union Minister, GOI Nitin Gadkari on the 11th Of August 2023 in Nagpur, India.

Early Life

Anshul Vijayvargiya was born on 13th January 1980 in Indore and was bought up in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh. He completed his graduation from Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai and further went on to pursue his masters in Mass Communication and Journalism from KC College of Management Studies, Mumbai.

Career

Vijayvargiya started his career as an assistant director in the feature film Deadline: Sirf 24 Ghante. He also worked as a composer and lyricist for the promotional tracks of the film.[1] He further went on to work as an assistant director in the 2008 Bollywood film Kidnap (2008) where he also worked as a dialogue writer. Anshul has also worked as an associate director on the Indian Live-action animated film Toonpur ka Superhero.

In 2012, he started writing television shows with Arjun and has written several TV shows since such as Aahat , Adaalat, Rudrakaal (2021), MTV Webbed (2013), Dil Dosti Dance (2011), Gumrah (2012), Savdhaan India (2012) Agent Raghav, Ishq Kills amongst others.

He has also directed episodes for Adaalat and Dil Dosti Dance.

His book Tune for the Dead was published by Harper Collins in the year 2019. The book received rave reviews with The Times Of India review calling it "hard to put down".[2] The Hindu review by Navmi Krishna hailed the book as "Tune for the Dead ticks all the boxes of a detective novel done right" and "reads like a crisp detective movie"[3]

Anshul is also the creative director of SK Music Works and has directed several music videos for them. His music video 'Dua Karo' [4]crossed 160 Million views on Youtube making it a huge hit.

Additionally, Vijayvargiya is also the creative producer and show director of Perfect Amalgamation, a contemporary instrumental fusion show.

He recently directed a music video Rab Ni Maaf Karega for Zee Music Company.
