Ankita Dubey (born 1 Sep, 1991) is an Indian actress and Voice over artist, working for Indian & International projects. Her recent European film with Farrukh Jaffar was Mehrunisa, which premiered in the 51st International Film Festival of India and was awarded as the best film in festivals like NYCSAFF, VISAFF Canada & Prifest 2021 in Kosovo. She is also known for her role as 'Moti Bai' in famous TV Show Jodha Akbar and many experimental roles in television and web projects. Ankita's web films like Love knows no gender, Sex Tape, A night with Christopher have been selected and awarded at many national and international platforms. As a voice over artist, she has given her voice in various commercials and South Indian Films.
Born & raised in Lucknow, Ankita also has a rich understanding of Bhojpuri culture, thanks to her parental background. While pursuing Bachelor of Commerce from Awadha Girls Degree College, she got engaged into Theatre to enhance her confidence and stage skills. This was the time when Tanu Weds Manu was being shot in Lucknow where she got her first opportunity to showcase her acting skills. After completing her education, she decided to pursue acting as a career and moved to Mumbai in 2011 where she got her first work in a regional show with Balaji Telefilms on Mahuaa TV. Later she appeared in famous TV shows like Kairi — Rishta Khatta Meetha, Jodha Akbar, Doli Armaano Ki, Kaala Teeka and many episodic and web shows.She also holds a good digital presence.
Since 2009, She has been actively doing theatre and her play LASSANWALA[1] won BEST ACTOR IN META 2017. She has been part of various films and her recent work can be seen in Vikrant Massey starrer 14 Phere and Kathmandu Connection.
