Biography

Andrés Reisinger (b. 1990) occupies a unique position in contemporary culture, working and defining the fertile space between the digital and physical spheres[1]. Originally from Argentina[2] and currently residing in Barcelona where his studio is also based[3], Reisinger's work, by his own definition “unclassifiable”[4], bridges realms with an instantly recognisable aesthetic that conveys his artistic vision.

Some of Reisinger's most well known works include 'The Shipping'[5] and 'Arcadia'[6], which both fetched rarely seen before figures at auctions[7][8], and 'Hortensia'[9], the embodiment of Reisinger's ethos and ever evolving artwork, born as digital Rendering (computer graphics) and transformed into rare design creation and contemporary object[10]

Reisinger Studio was founded by Andrés Reisinger as a vehicle to further expand his work and artistic practice. Collaborating with Apple Inc.[11], Bally[12], Cassina S.p.A.[13], Kettal[14], Microsoft[15], Samsung[16], and Verizon Communications[17] to name but a few, Reisinger and his team engage in projects that are aligned with the core values of the studio. His works are exhibited in private residencies all over the world as well as in some of the most important collections of digital art, including at Moco Museum[18] (Barcelona, ES), Palazzo Strozzi[19] (Florence, IT) and Design Museum Gent[20] (Ghent, BE).
