Anay Patel (born 21 March 1996) is a British entrepreneur, author, organic growth expert, and public speaker. He is the founder of Yugenway Agency, a leading digital marketing agency based in the UK. Anay specializes in digital marketing, search engine optimization, developing digital strategies, email marketing, and website development.
Anay has worked with several prolific clients including Cineworld, Marisa Peer, Gini TV, Augnet, The London Law Practice, Viveka, and others. He was also featured in the 2019 Amazon Best Selling Book - Ignite Your Life for Conscious Leaders amongst other publications and media outlets.[1]
Early life and education
Anay was born on 21 March 1996 in East London, the United Kingdom, to Hamlila Patel. When he was three months old, Anay moved to Nairobi, Kenya, where his parents lived. His father owned a construction company, and his mother worked in the fashion industry. When he was four years, Anay moved back to London with his mother when his parents got divorced.
While growing up, Anay struggled with his studies due to suffering from dyslexia and dyspraxia. His mother lived in several temporary accommodations throughout his childhood, until they settled in Woodford Green. Where he started West Hatch High School. During his time at school, Anay developed a passion for computers and decided to pursue further studies in the IT sector.
When he was 16 years old, Anay enrolled at the Epping Forest College, where he studied Information Technology and got his first summer internship at a start-up company TechTalent Group, in London Liverpool Street. Later, in 2014, Anay went to the University of Hertfordshire to pursue a degree in Software Engineering. He graduated in 2017.
Career
Anay started his career in 2014 when he did an internship at TechTalent Group while still in college. He worked for five months at this start-up company as a social media manager. In 2015, Anay became the managing director of Launch-A-Preneur, a platform dedicated to supporting young entrepreneurs where he shared Tools to help inspiring entrepreneurs. Anay worked for over a year on this start-up project.
In 2016, Anay founded Arcitux, an IT firm based in London. He worked for over two years at this web development company whilst completing his exams in his final university year. Soon after his graduation in 2017, Anay invested in a co-working space in Central London, where within a year, he started building Web and Mobile applications along with his team.
Anay also started coaching alongside his main business and had the opportunity to work with a client within Goddard, NASA Space Facilitator. Later that year, Anay was invited by his client to visit Goddard on a private trip to NASA.
Anay founded YugenWay in 2019, a leading digital marketing agency based in the UK. In 2019, Anay was also featured in an Amazon Best Selling Book “Ignite Your Life for Conscious Leaders,” where he shared strategies that helped him break through his limiting beliefs to enable him to live life on his own terms.
