Efuntolu Olumbe Nelson (born September 5, 1996), known professionally as AnAlyzer, is an American music producer, audio engineer, recording artist, and creative director. Active for over a decade, he is recognized for his work in audio engineering, music production, and contributions to independent hip-hop and R&B.[1]
Early life and education
Nelson was born in Windsor Mill, Maryland, and raised in Baltimore County. He grew up in a family of six siblings, influenced by African culture through his father’s interests and studies.
Career
Early career
Nelson began his professional involvement in music as an intern audio engineer at Lineup Room Studios in Baltimore from 2015 to 2016. He later worked as a music production educator at the Media Rhythm Institute, a program within Baltimore City Public Schools.
Freelance and production work
Since 2017, Nelson has worked as a freelance audio engineer and music producer, collaborating with independent artists such as Ricky 50, Jett Bailey, and PrimetimeTez.
SwanoDown
In 2021, Nelson became the director of operations at SwanoDown, a production company and publication heavily focused on the arts. He has contributed to both creative direction and production projects associated with the organization.[2]
Music releases
In 2022, AnAlyzer released the single “Velour Freestyle,” which was featured on the music platform Critiques by SwanoDown.[3]
Style and influences
Nelson’s work combines elements of hip-hop, R&B, and experimental production. He cites Pete Rock, George Benson, and Lupe Fiasco as key influences on his sound and artistic approach.
