Amjad Noorani (امجد نورانی) was a children education activitist from Pakistan who authored many books on education reforms.[1] He had a background in clinical therapy,[2] and he spent over 20 years with The Citizens Foundation (TCF) and other organization to fight for children's right to education.[1] He spent most of his life in Pakistan but moved to the United States after retirement and died in California on Friday, June 3, 2022.[1] "Agents of Change: The Problematic Landscape of Pakistan’s K-12 Education" was one of his most prominent published works.[3][4] This book highlights the educational landscape in Pakistan and asks the civil society to take actions for sustainable change.[5] Amjad Noorani was of the view that all teachers should keep learning to teach better to their students.[6]
