Allison Bianco is an American artist and printmaker based in Rhode Island. Born in 1979 in Providence, Rhode Island[1][2], Bianco earned her MFA in printmaking from the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa in Honolulu, HI and a BA in studio art from Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, MA.[3]
Work
Bianco describes her work as creating, "a visual history of Rhode Island and includes oceanscapes" with a focus on "the ways that the space between water and land can change slowly over time, or drastically with the onset of huge storms, and how the physical changes can cause a shift in our remembrance of those places."[1]
