Al Kingsley is an EdTech author who writes and shares about the challenges in achieving impact with technology products in education and is a strong advocate for the creation of an organisation-wide digital strategy. He is a leading voice on the ways Educational Technology can be used to mitigate the impact of Covid-19 on Learning and outcomes.[1] [2] [3] [4] [5] He is Chair of Hampton Academies Trust, a group of schools in Peterborough, UK, and Chair of KWEST Multi Academy Trust, a group of 7 schools in Norfolk. a member of the Regional Schools Commissioners Head Teacher Board [6]for the East of England and North-east London. In February 2020 Kingsley was recognised again as one of the UK EDTECH 50 [7][8] and featured in TES under their "Revealed: the Stars of the UK EdTech sector" [9] .Kingsley is also the author of an education focused blog providing regular articles on current education issues, designed for school leaders it is published at https://schooltrustee.blog/ . He was awarded a Civic Award for Community engagement in March 2020,[10] and is one of the contributing authors for Global EdTech a community of education experts from around the globe sharing advice and best practice. He is Council Member for the Foundation for Education Development and Group Managing Director of NetSupport, an award-winning[13] [14] [15] [16] international software company.

In December 2019, he co-authored the Guide to creating a Schools digital Strategy[17], with Mark Anderson. and is a guest author for Global Edtech magazine and editorial board member for SecEd Magazine, publishing articles regulalry on relevant sector news.[18] An updated version in light of COVID-19 and the move to blended learning was published in July 2020 [19]
