Ajani Stella

Ajani Stella is a youth climate change activist and student living in New York City.[1][2] He is the founder and CEO of Kids Fight Climate Change, a youth-led climate education nonprofit. In 2017, Stella spoke to the New York City Teachers Pension Fund Board of Directors, urging them to Fossil fuel divestment from fossil fuels.[3][4][5] He is also a co-founder of the Youth Advisory Council for the Human Impacts Institute.[6] In this capacity, he was an officially accredited observing Non-governmental organization delegate for 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference, the 2021 United Nations climate change summit.[7][8] In 2020, Stella moderated a panel "Health and Justice for All." In 2021, Stella participated in a panel regarding climate justice in NYC.[9] He has written articles Teachers College, Columbia University and Green Roofs for Healthy Cities.[6]
