Boddu Adi Venkata Narayana Reddy (born 5 June 1990), popularly known as Adi Reddy, is an Indian YouTuber,[2] influencer and fantasy cricket expert.[3] He gained prominence for his participation as a contestant on the reality show Bigg Boss Telugu Season 6,[4] commencing in September 2022 on Star Maa.

Early and personal life

Adi Reddy was born on 5 June 1990, in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh. He comes from a farming family and completed his BTech (Electrical Engineering) from Sri Raghavendra Institute of Science and Technology.[5][2] He has a blind sister named Boddu Naga Lakshmi, who is also a content creator on YouTube.[6]

In 2020, Adi Reddy married Kavitha, and the couple has a daughter named Hadvitha.[7]

Career

In 2018, Adi Reddy joined the digital marketing firm Knowledge Hut, initially receiving a modest salary of 15,000. Concurrently with his digital marketing job, he delved into content creation on YouTube, gaining recognition for his trending job profiles and initiating reviews for Big Boss Telugu. Despite setbacks, such as the suspension of his first channel's monetization at a substantial viewership of 40,000, his subsequent channel became one of the most visited YouTube channels for authentic Big Boss Telugu reviews and evaluations.

Adi Reddy's sister, Boddu Naga Lakshmi, and his wife, Kavitha, joined him on YouTube, collaborating on videos. Bondala Kavitha also established her own vlogging channel, managed by Adi Reddy and herself. In 2020, his critiques of the show amassed three crore views in Telugu reviews..[8]

He achieved notable success in domestic cricket and Indian Premier League matches, accumulating impressive statistics on popular fantasy cricket platforms like Dream11, Batball 11, Gamezy, and myfab11. This catapulted him to the ranks of top players in the fantasy cricket arena. However, his success was short-lived as he encountered a challenging period marked by the loss of his nominees.[9][10]

Television

In 2022, Adi Reddy entered as a 18th Contestant in Telugu reality show Bigg Boss (Telugu season 6) and emerged as 3rd Runner-up.[11][12]

In 2023 Adi Reddy appeared in a Sixth Sense season 5 episode along with Sravanthi Chokkarapu, Geethu and Shiva.[13]

Other work

He took a branch of famous salon company Javed Habib franchise in Vijayawada and started it. Singer and Bigg Boss season 3 winner Rahul Sipligunj came as a guest for the inauguration of this salon.[14][15]

Adi Reddy donated 1 lakh to the Ram Mandir is a substantial contribution that significantly supports the ongoing construction of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir.[16][17]
