Achalgarh is a small village of 142 hectares in Abu Road Tehsil in Sirohi district, known as Rajasthani hill station of Mount Abu in Aravalli range in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Achalgarh depends on MOUNT ABU, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 5.90% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Achalgarh is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Achalgarh's pin code is 307501[4], and village code is 02368400.
