Abdulai Yahaya popularly known as Rasta Wale is a Ghanaian Entrepreneur, Activist and a poet[1]. He came into limelight after emerging as the Student Entrepreneur of the Year.[2] [3] at the Ghana National Students Awards 2019. He is the founder of rasnews.biz, He is the OFounder of RAS Foundation. A foundation that seeks to help the poor and needy in society. In 2017, he started Rasta Wale Foundation as the founder[4]. Rasta as an Activist embarks on a social media campaign against the abuse of opioids. He is the CEO of Rasta Wale Foundationr[5], a non-governmental organization in Ghana consisting of the young people who wants to inspire other youths to fight against unhealthy practices among others.[6] He established numerous organizations such as RAS clothing, Ras multimedia, Ras Events, Ras News and The VibeKart. Through his work, Rasat has had the opportunity meeting famous celebrities like Asamoah Gyan, Chidozie Awaziem, Joseph Larweh Attamah, Emmanuel Adebayor, and Caleb Ekuban, John Dumelo.

Life and career

Rasta Wale attended T.I. Ahmadiyya Senior High School, Kumasi in Kumasi in the year 2013, and became The Assistant School Prefect in 2014. He graduated from T.I. Ahmadiyya Senior High School, Kumasi (T.I Amass). After graduating from High School, Rasta engaged in social activities and entrepreneurial activities which he applied for a scholarship in Turkey. He became a model at CASTAAJANS modelling Agency in Instanbul, Turkey. Whiles at Turkey, he founded and launched an eCommerce Company(TheVibeKart.com)[7] which is amongst the best online shopping sites in Ghana. Towards the end of 2018, he joined a car towing Company in Ghana and is currently the Ambassador. In the later year of 2019, he fully launched a news blog Rasnews.biz.

In January 2020, Rasta Wale launched Rasnews.biz, an entertainment and news blog website that primarily publishes news about Celebrities, Sports, Business, Music, and politics. With its innovative ways to reach readers across the globe.[8]

TheVibeKart.com

The formulation of TheVibeKart.com an eCommerce Company established in 2018 was a result of Rasta's friend hosting and helping him get the domain. Since its inception, the website has found innovative ways to reach customers across Ghana. In 2018, Rasta Wale launched a platform where customers can share and discuss relevant issues concerning the eCommerce website to provide them with the best shopping experience. In addition, providing services from U.S.A, China and Europe.[9]

Recognition

Rasta wale writes poetry and is considered a poet due to the various styles he possesses.[10]. From the years of 2016-date, He received many awards and nominations and he is recently the voice of the ghetto youth in Ghana having his face painting on walls and T-Shirts. He is one of the pillars who fought the abuse of opioids in 2017 after widespread abuse in Ghana.

He receives numerous awards and is considered a The Role Model due to his Leadership and Entrepreneurship skill. His work and dedication paid off and was named as the Student Entrepreneur of the year 2019[11]

The was listed as the National Student of the year in 2019.[12]by the publisher Ghana.

Philanthropist

Rasta Wale established the ‘Ras Foundation’[13] which was formerly Rasta Wale Foundation a non-governmental organization. In 2017 the foundation donated lots of food to the unhealthy in the Northern Region of Ghana, Tamale.[14]
