Abderrahmane Benguerrah is an Algerian politician and diplomat.[1] He is currently serving as ambassador People's Democratic Republic of Algeria to The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (since 8 November 2019).[2] Benguerrah is permanent representative of Algeria to the International Maritime organisation.[3] He previously served in Algerian cabinet for Energy and afterwards was employed at Sonatrach. He assisted in multiple international diplomatic missions, then came back to cabinet as Minister of Foreign Affairs, before returning to international diplomacy.[1]
Education
Benguerrah went to university in America, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of New Hampshire.[1]
Personal Life
He is married to Fatiha Benguerrah and has three children[1][2]
