Ali Abasbeili (Azerbaijani: Əli Abasbəyli, born March 11, 1989), better known by his stage name ALIGEE, is an Azerbaijani DJ and music producer.[1]

Career

Musical career

ALIGEE has started his music career in 2000s as a Hip-hop producer and released his first album with local band "6th Block". During his career as a beat maker he was known by his stage name Ali G Beatz [2]. Starting from 2010, ALIGEE decided to try himself in electronic dance music, where he started his career with the progressive house music co-production and featuring as an artist with the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 winner Eldar "Ell" Gasimov for the track "I'm Free"[3][4].

ALIGEE was an official resident DJ of "MTV White Party Azerbaijan" from 2013 to 2016 year[5].

In 2017, ALIGEE was signed by German based music company SDM (Stefan Dabruck Management) for artist and producer management purposes.[6] His discography has many official remixes and productions for famous artists such as Robin Schulz, David Guetta, James Blunt and many more which were released by major labels.

One of his most successful remixes was in a collaboration with duo DJ and producer Nervo for Robin Schulz and Piso21's single "Oh Child".[7]

In 2019, ALIGEE signed management and publishing deal with London base artist and producer management, publishing and record label company MAINCHORD Studio[8][9]. At the same year, he released his next single "Believer"[10][11] in a collaboration with Phareed[12][13] and Chad Kowal.[14][15][16][17]

In 2020, ALIGEE co-produced "Empty Love" single for Dutch DJ and producer Lulleaux in a collaboration with songwriter and vocalist Kid Princess, music producer Phareed and songwriter Tony Esterly, who also writes for Sia. The song was written in Nashville. Besides of co-production, ALIGEE had been also featured as an artist in club mix version of the track. Both versions had been released by BeYourself Music label.
