Dahl became interested in DJing at an early age and started to DJ in 2002 after attending her first rave in Toronto. Dahl began learning softwares like Fruityloops to produce her own music and soon after started performing at local raves in New York. Dahl relocated to Florida in 2004 to further study sound design in college.[8]
