History
Founded in 2009, Zimbabwe Fashion Week was created to foster the growth of the local fashion industry and provide a global platform for Zimbabwean designers. The event was held in Harare each year. The event has attracted international attention and participants over the years. The event took a four year haitus from 2019- 2022. It returned in 2023, in a new city, Victoria Falls.

The Zimbabwe Fashion Week Creative Accelerator Program (CAP) is a 13-week mentorship initiative launched to fashion designers from in Zimbabwe. Established to provide essential creative and life skills, the program focuses on training participants in design techniques, business management, and marketing strategies. The CAP culminates in a fashion show where designers showcase their collections, offering significant exposure and networking opportunities with industry professionals.
