Zidd is a ZEE5 Original Indian language Web series directed by Vishal Mangalorkar. The show stars Amit Sadh, Amrita Puri, Sushant Singh & Aly Gony. The series is produced by Boney Kapoor & co-produced by Arunava Joy Sengupta and Akash Chawla. The series is inspired by a true story and will release through ZEE5 on 22 January 2021.[1] [2] [3]
Plot
Zidd has been inspired by the real-life story of Kargil war hero Major Deependra Singh Senger. It portrays the conviction, persuasion and commitment of a man who turns impossible into possible with his grit and self-belief.[4][5][6][7]

Production
Development
On 20 August 2020, ZEE5 announced that Vishal Mangalorkar is set to be the director alongside Boney Kapoor who will produce the series.[8]The official poster of the series was released on 25 November 2020.[9]Teaser of the series was released on 7 December 2020. [10][11]
