Zengin Kız Fakir Oğlan [1] (English title: Rich Girl & Poor Boy, Azerbaijanese title: Varlı qız, kasıb oğlan) is a Turkish romantic comedy television series produced by Birol Güven, starring Ufuk Özkan and Ecem Özkaya Üstündağ in main roles. It aired on TRT1 [2] from August 30, 2012 to June 14, 2015 and then on Fox (Turkish TV channel) [3] from July 24, 2015 to August 28, 2015. It consist a total of 136 episodes.

Plot

Kemal Yılmaz (Hüseyin Avni Danyal) is a very wealthy businessman and contractor, who loves his wife Serpil (Ayda Aksel) and his daughters Rüyam (Gözde Okur) and Biricik (Ecem Özkaya Üstündağ) more than anything. One day, Biricik introduces a boy who looks clumsy and stupid, Nurhan (Ufuk Özkan), to her family as the person she wants to marry. Mr. Kemal doesn't like Nurhan and doesn't want him to marry his daughter. He begins to look for ways to get rid of Nurhan. Sarp (Mahir İpek), fiancé of Mr. Kemal's eldest daughter Rüyam, helps him too. Although Sarp is seems to be a rich groom worthy of Mr. Kemal's eldest daughter Rüyam, his company is actually about to go banktrup and he wants to seize Mr. Kemal's wealth. Sarp is a selfish and insidious person who always cheats on his fiancée, unlike Nurhan. Nurhan is very kind hearted and helpful to everyone as well as hapless and clumsy.
