Zeev Tene (6 May 1947), born as Sigmund Tannenbaum, is an Israeli creator, poet, actor, songwriter, and rock singer, known for his protest songs.[1]
Tene is also a food engineer and an entrepreneur in the field of food engineering.[2]
Musical career
One of his best known songs is called Beirut. It was featured in the movie Waltz with Bashir. He is also the author of one of the first Israeli protest songs, 'Eifo Ta'inu' (Where did we err), written after the outbreak of Yom Kippur War in 1973.
On his 70th birthday, Zeev released his 10th album - Tsa'ir Ani Kvar Lo Amut. The album was released in mark of 50 years of Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories.
