Zarvan Tumboli (born 13 January 1992) is an Indian professional poker player known for winning the inaugural WPT Prime Main Event in Vietnam in 2022. He has multiple live poker titles across events aroudn the world, and represents PokerBaazi as a Team Pro. He has won medals at the National Poker Series India, including gold and silver in 2025.
Early life and education
Tumboli was born and raised in Mumbai, India. He studied Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) before pursuing a Master of Commerce and an MBA at Edinburgh Business School in Dubai. He began playing poker during his college years and later transitioned to professional poker with the support of his family.
Poker career
Tumboli is noted for his success in live poker tournaments. His major achievements include:
- Winner – WPT Prime Main Event, Vietnam (2022)
- Winner – Poker Dream 8, Malaysia
- Winner – VSOP Main Event, Vietnam
- Two-time champion – Asian Poker Tour events
- Gold and silver medalist – National Poker Series India 2025, leading Maharashtra to a record 120 medals
As of October 2025, Tumboli has over $1 million (as of March 2026) in live tournament earnings and ranks 12th on India’s all-time money list.[1]
He is a PokerBaazi Team Pro and has also captained the Bengaluru AllStars in the Poker Sports League.
Personal life
Tumboli lives in Mumbai with his wife Shanaya and daughter Tiara, born in 2021. Outside poker, he enjoys travel and food and has publicly credited his family for their support in his career.

Tumboli was featured in the June 2024 e-magazine of Gutshot Magazine, which profiled his poker journey and success on the international stage.[2] Apart from this, he has been seen in multiple photo shoots and brand campaigns with companies like Spartan Poker, before he joined hands with PokerBaazi. He was also seen on The PokerGuru Show in August 2025, while has been a commentator in online poker streams of flagship series like India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) and Final Table Series (FTS).
